Workflow
Office is a web-based process flow platform that composed of a workflow
engine, people hierarchies database, workflow process templates. Each
of them playing an important part in the Workflow Office:
1. People
Database
This database contains the people in an organization and they are the
process executors of an organization playing different roles in different
business processes. The people database provides the most updated and
structured organization structure and hierarchy for the operation of the
Workflow Office.
2. Workflow
Engine
It is a technology breakthrough that Workflow Engine becomes the backbone
of the Workflow Office. In each process, data may be nominated from one
people, passing to another for next step. This involves pre-defined route
of data transmission. We call the panel that control the data transmission
according to the defined rule and regulation, Workflow Engine. It enables
different workflow application templates to run on it with least modification

balance data, leave history etc. that related to leave information. They
are the partners of the Workflow Engine representing the application interface
of the Workflow Office. One Workflow Engine can support more than hundreds
of workflow templates. Different process will have different Workflow
Templates and they can be in different scale. You may purchase the standard
Workflow Templates ranging from Human Resources, Finance, Customer Service,
and many more from IMA or you may tailor-make your own template to cope
with your unique business and operation needs.
4. Email
Server
Connecting to Email Server, Workflow Office can send immediate notification
via email that they have a workflow task at hand. You will not need to
login to Workflow Office always to check the new coming tasks.
