Q: Where can end-user find logo and ringtone?
A: Nokia logo and ringtone is very popular and easy to find in Internet.
Use a search engine, such as
www.google.com, and input your target ringtone, for example, Mission
Impossible in the format "Mission Impossible, MIDI, ringtone, Nokia"
in the search engine. You will find thousands of outputs. Save the ringtone
(in *.mid format) into the CF card and you can use Ringtone & Logo
Manager to upload it directly to you Nokia phone. The built-in midi convertor
will convert the midi into Nokia ringtone format.
Alternatively, you can use the RTTTL format to find your
desired ringtone. Use
www.google.com and input your target ringtone, for example, Mission
Impossible again, in the format "Mission Impossible, RTTTL, ringtone,
Nokia". You will also find thousands of outputs, and the RTTTL ringtone
format is something like this:
Missionim:d=4,o=5,b=112:16g6, 8p,
16g6, 8p, 16f6, 16p, 16f#6, 16p, 16g6, 8p, 16g6, 8p, 16a#6, 16p, 16c7,
16p, 16g6, 8p, 16g6, 8p, 16f6, 16p, 16f#6, 16p, 16g6, 8p, 16g6, 8p, 16a#6,
16p, 16c7, 16p, 16a#6, 16g6, 2d6, 32p, 16a#6, 16g6, 2c#6, 32p, 16a#6,
16g6, 2c6, 16p, 16a#, 16c6
Open the Notepad (or any text editor) in your computer,
copy above RTTTL ringtone format and paste it into the Notepad. Save it
into your CF card with a file name such as "Mission.txt". Insert
the CF card back to your Ringtone and Logo Manager and you can now upload
this "Mission.txt" to your Nokia phone directly as ringtone.
